Lcd Digital

When any type of digital signage is deployed to a location that is susceptible to vandalism, such as the deployment on a factory floor, the electronics that are not protected are vulnerable to abuse, theft and vandalism. One of the best ways to protect them would be to enclose them in a special LCD enclosure, these protect all the electronics from unauthorized access, dust, dirt and water.
Theft Protection.
These protective cases provide protection, from the TV mounting to a special frame, this frame has security screws in it that needs a specific tool to be removed, once the TV is mounted and secured into position the cables enter the enclosure and the enclosure is locked.
Vandal Protection.
Well when anyone sees a digital sign, they presume the vulnerable part to be the screen, however there are units that are designed (and do) resist the impact of a standard house bricks being thrown at them.
Touch Screen Display.
This is an interactive touch resistant film that is attached to the rear of the access door, so people can use their finger as a mouse and the film is accurate to 0.5mm. It is basically plug and play once attached to the screen. There are two types of touch resistant film the 4 wire and the 5 wire, the later being the better option as there is more wire in any square on the display making it more accurate.
These are easily deployed and integrated into any Industrial or Retail application.
Dust or Waterproof Solutions.
When any electronics need protecting from dust or fluid, there are two types of protection available and these depend upon the application. IP56 (dust proof and splash proof) or IP65 (waterproof - washed down with a high pressure water jet). IP65 is the European standard and is the nearest equivalent to NEMA 4X the USA standard.
Dave is an expert in digital outdoor signage, he also owns Europe’s leading manufacturer of LCD enclosures, that are used throughout the world providing protection for the digital signage industry as well as being used in industrial applications - anything else is a compromise.
why does my samsung lcd’s digital tuner will not catch cbs and abc?
why doesn’t my samsung lcd’s digital tuner catch cbs HD and abc HD? It only catched nbc HD, and fox HD, and kpbs HD.
It sounds like you may live in the San Diego, CA, area. If so, you are in a difficult situation, as they point out on the web site for your channel 6, XETV (linked below).
You can check it out at antennaweb.org, also linked below.
You don’t say just where you live.
From areas like Old Town, Mission Hills, and Hillcrest, the AntennaWeb site shows that the NBC, FOX and PBS transmitters are located generally to your east, while the ABC and CBS stations’ transmitters are located more or less to your northwest.
It sounds like you have your antenna pointed east.
You will need to go to some effort to pick up all available channels — possibly install one or more additional antennas or install an antenna rotor.
Incidentally, if you have purchased a UHF-only antenna, that will increase your problems with the ABC and CBS affiliates in San Diego, because after they terminate their analog transmissions, they will be broadcasting digitally on channels 8 (CBS) and 10 (ABC), and you will have better chances picking them up on a VHF antenna rather than UHF.
