I need a 32-40 ” lcd tv WITH A SOUND LEVELER*?
Due to medical necessity I need to buy an lcd tv (preference 32-40″) that comes with a sound LEVELER*. Sometimes called an equalizer, audio balancer… This feature ‘equalizes’ all volumes ranging from and including transition to tv commercials and back to program/movie dialog. ‘Dramatic’ moments of loud music or car chases are a real problem for me. I cannot continue to view programs with the remote control in my hand waiting to decrease or increase the volume as required for me. Please advise. Willing to spend up to $1,000.00 but would prefer a less costly product. Please include Specs. if you know them and quality comparisons. ****Also willing to buy a separate (compatible) unit if need be.
does any one know anything about SOUND LEVELERS a.k.a. volume EQUALIZERS FOR lcd tvs? Best Buy and Sears don’t have a clue! I’m not making this ‘feature’ up… it DOES EXIST!
I know that the Sony KDL40V3000 LCD tv I just picked up for my in-laws has the sound leveler feature but it cost more than the $1000 you want to spend. Call a sony dealer and see if any of the smaller sized sets also have that feature.
